It's amazing how awesome football still is despite all the reversals and bad calls.
I think replay really has made things worse - The knowledge of instant replay reviews live on national TV when millions are judging you dulls your instincts and courage to call it like you see it.

Agreed. But as bad as social media is now, it would be truly insufferable without replay. The NFL would be under constant pressure for game changing incorrect calls.

Thats why I think they should train and pay players who can't quite make it to be refs. Get athletes in there who know the game inside and out and who could keep up. Pay them like rockstars and give them cool looking uniforms. It' a whole other avenue.
Who says you can't have a "favourite ref" and have it become part of the drama? Put them in a survivor type show where they're graded and we learn about their personal lives.

Top tier QBs are really good so this is gonna sound a slight to him but it’s not, if the Titans had a 2nd tier QB like Stafford they would be a Super Bowl contender.
Tannehill keeps this team from being elite. They’ve got 2, maybe 3 years with the big three of Julio, Brown, and Henry. All they need is to upgrade Tannehill and they’re there.
