Met Roy Jones Jr. in Pensacola at the gym on the navy base. We ended up playing a pick up game together(different teams), dude can ball.(1998)
Met LT(Tomlinson) at a barber shop called Grooves Style in San Diego on 32nd and Main st. Everyone was playing Madden in the back and we ended up playing against each other for half a game for bragging rights(Texas/LA thing) he was Dallas and I played with the Saints.(2004?)

. Also, drank with former Reds catcher, Joe Oliver as well back in the mid 90's.
And the Golic Brothers(Bob and Mike) were in there one night too. We got to say hi to them but they pretty much had their own entourage and did nothing but wave and barely acknowledged us. At that time Bob Golic was doing a pregame show on a local channel for the Browns games

That's how I felt about meeting Cal Ripken, Jr. There aren't too many players of that caliber that you get a chance to meet and have a conversation with.

Have met a number famous athletes, but talked to Gary Player for almost an hour. He is a true gentleman and great guy.

I was at the Hoffbrau Steakhouse on Magazine when Tommy Hodson came in during his bachelor party. Didn't talk to him but I had to walk through his vomit puddle when we left. Ah the memories!

We were trying to get on a ride while he was coming off. My kids kinda stopped, to do a double take. As I looked up and recognized him, and said "Hi", my kid stepped back to get a better look, so the bodyguard put his hand up in his face, to allow Barry to pass by a 7 yr old without speaking.
