The irony of an sga bot making this statement is off the charts.

LOL
This was one of the good reffed games in a while. Equal whistle for both teams. 22 fouls called on each team. Let players decide outcome

Minnesota by the numbers:
36 missed threes
0 fast break points
19 turnovers
0 Ant Edwards 4th quarter points
20 points in the paint (54 for OKC)
Don’t let people tell you this game was decided by the whistle.

MVP
Alex Caruso said his whole career has felt like one long Game 7 -- and he's not wrong.
It's been win or go home for the vet since he came into the league in 2016 as an undrafted rookie out of Texas A&M.
9 years ago, Caruso was waived by the Thunder. Now he's a big part of why they're in the Western Conference Finals.
How did he do it? By treating every step along his NBA journey like a Game 7.
It started with OKC sending him down to their G League team, where he played for none other than his current coach, Mark Daigneault.
AC then worked his way up to a spot on the Lakers, earning a championship in the 2020 bubble season.
He cemented his All-Defense level intensity in his 3 seasons with the Bulls.
And then last year Sam Presti traded Josh Giddey to the Bulls in order to acquire Caruso, whom he recognized as a "quintessential Thunder player" (via the Athletic).
Now Caruso is being called a savvy veteran leader for the Thunder. He's also being called the 'Jokic Stopper' after his heroic defensive performance in Game 7 against the big man.
But all Caruso wants is to be called a 2-time NBA champion. And if he keeps playing like this, he might just get his wish.

I see more of this going forward statewide as this series move on.

People will say the NBA sucks because nobody plays defense, then a team plays historic defense and the same people say it’s too much, we need the refs to be more involved.

Reminder
Shai shot 14 FTs tonight. Ant shot seven FTs.
Shai had 17 field-goal attempts in the paint tonight. Ant had one field-goal attempt in the paint tonight.
And again, this was a 26-point game

Now that the spotlight is on OKC we’re seeing even more casual takes from haters. Comes with the territory, people hate great teams.
Take away all of Shai’s free throws and we win by 15. Take away every free throw the team made and we still win by 5.
MVP should be announced today as well.

No one is talking about fts being the difference in this game, but nice reach.

Whether it was or wasn't, I think the gripe is it's not fun to watch.

Y’all were creaming your jeans over Jokic though, who is an even worse flopper than SGA.
Can’t quite put my finger on the difference between them. It’s a mystery.

It was a pretty boring game last night. The NBA and ABC are praying that the Knicks beat the Pacers… as talented as the pacers and OKC are, they just won’t bring in a large viewership.
