Not only just that, but we don’t have Chu, LOC, Brindley or Kivi right now.
The first two are massive to the make up of the team. Brindley has inserted himself into the lineup and has top 6 potential no doubt. I think Kivi might be trade bait when healthy, but if not he’s a damned good fourth liner for this team.
It’s crazy to think we are doing this while hurt, and even Blacky is still working on getting to form.

Best game of the season so far. Ain’t a thing wrong with a SO loss on the road against the now hottest team in the NHL. Still, one regulation loss a game past Thanksgiving is wild.

Avs are now 11-0-2 on home ice. D corps may be the best I’ve seen since the glory days of Avs 1.0. Brock Nelson is really hitting a two way groove- exactly the 2C they thought they were getting.

The refs have been very against the Avs so far in NY
1st goal v NYI was interference with the stick in the pad - they were just outplayed that night so it probably didn't matter
Waved off 3rd goal vs NYR today - was the right call given call on the ice but still aggravating
2nd NYR goal was obviously high stick first
I really think any borderline calls especially with GI have gone against the Avs since Bednar called refs out after Wedgie was injured v Buffalo last year. Reminds me of the NFL vs Sean Payton saga.
So many matinee games for the Avs so far this year it's weird.
