Don't look now, but Oilers just won two in a row by decisive margins. Zach Hyman is back and rounding into form.

What a win for the Panthers!!!

My two sons and I were at the game and it was one of the best games I have ever seen (that wasn’t a playoff game). Hope they get on a roll.

The Winnipeg Jets and Montreal Canadiens will play an outdoor game next season.

The NHL announced Saturday the teams will face off in the Heritage Classic at Winnipeg's Princess Auto Stadium. The event set for Oct. 25 will be the league's eighth Heritage Classic and first since 2023.

21-2-7.

Don’t think that was dirty by Forsberg, but it looked bad. Hopefully Wedgie is okay.

Agreed

It's been a while since we just put a beatdown on a Central division team - they've all had the Avs figured out for years, even the bad ones.

So will the Islanders. Theyre really beating the expectations I had for them this season

No one is as quick as the Avalanche. It's showing night-after-night, and we are still missing LOC.

22-2-7

EDIT: What is the record of the team since the Wedgewood/Blackwood trades? Something like 59-18-9? Sakic and MacFarland are the best in the biz.

Hopefully they can find a taker for Girard. He’s such a liability. Both goals last night were because of him.

Awesome win by the Sharks in Toronto last night. Got a goal late to send it to OT then won it.

Also this happened today.

The Penguins have acquired goaltender Stuart Skinner, defenseman Brett Kulak, and the Edmonton Oilers 2029 second-round draft pick in exchange for goaltender Tristan Jarry and forward Sam Poulin.

I don’t hate him in the bottom blue line pairing, but obviously that comes as a cap liability for his 5M AAV. Not sure who will take him at this point unless we’re packaging a team-friendly cap hit like Kivi with him to balance things out.

I have been ready to move on from Sammy for a while, which sucks because when he’s on and healthy he’s very fricking good.

Quinn Hughes sent to Minnesota for Rossi, Buium, Ohgren + a 26 1st rounder.

Major upgrade for MN defense while not hurting their offense too much in what is outgoing.
