But they're still stained with shitty ads. Move that trash to the ice and boards.

Love the leather colored goalie gear
I’m a Canes fan but will not wear Whalers stuff. It’s for the transplants.

Kraken, missing 6 starters due to injury, blank the Jets 3-0 on their home ice.
I don’t know what to think here. For some teams, 6 points in 6 road games is a failure. But this is the best Kraken season launch ever, points wise, with wins over VGK, the Leafs, the Ducks, and the Jets so far this season, with 10 points overall.
But half the team is in the hospital!

Seven straight wins for the Devils.

Kraken do it again… 3-2 over the Oilers…
With 5 starters injured for the Kraken.
This game was pretty exciting. Joey Daccord is getting hard to beat.

Mammoth are outperforming expectations for sure. I always wondered why they weren’t winning more games. They have talent. They just didn’t have the wins to match it the last few years. They could have just been a victim of a bad situation in Arizona and a brutal division. Hope they can keep it up!

Avs Devils is drunk
Avs go up 5-0 then give up 4 goals in 4 minutes (all of which were from poor defending no fault of Wedgie)
Now 6-4 end of second period

Kings get outshot 41-14. And still win the last game of the Frozen Frenzy.

Interesting points of the Avs Devil goalfest
Mackinnon gets 4 points and Olofsson 5 (hat trick) - both finished -1
Makar with 4 assists and finished +/- 0
That's what happens when you score 4 PP goals and give up all goals even strength

Avs sign Necas and avoid a Rantanen situation. Deal is $500k less than what Rantanen got. Will be fun to see how it plays out.

The Avalanche have signed Martin Necas to a max-term extension, the team announced. The deal is worth $92MM in total and carries an $11.5MM cap hit,

So glad they locked up Necas
More than expected and close to what Mikko got, but a few points to mention
Would I have preferred them just resign Mikko? Probably but I guess this is a close second.
Salary cap going up way more than anticipated in the next few years and Avs will set records with Cale's next deal
Supposedly lack of state tax was a big deal for Mikko and he rejected what the Avs offered which was (reportedly) 11.75-12 AAV
Necas is 3 years younger than Mikko, and IMO, gives a more consistent effort each night. I wouldn't be surprised with more familiarity with the team and way more ice time if he outproduces Mikko over the course of their deals.
However, the playoffs speak for themselves and Necas will have to prove himself at the highest level this year - that is the biggest question.

Haven’t seen Necas take a game over like Rantanen can but it seems him and Nate click a lot better. Top 6 F and top 4 D all signed thru next season. Gonna be fun.
