Yes because LSU couldn't have won 3 years in a row in the no bowl

Bowl games mean nothing unless they are BCS bowls. UL Dash L would take 10 winless seasons just to sniff the Outback bowl..a Bowl LSU wanted nothing of.

Aced, let me get this straight. LSU's national championship 6 years ago isn't recent enough to matter but what LSU and the legislature allegedly did to your school regarding the name in 1984 fuels all the LSU hate coming from Ragin pagin????

I've been a fan since the 90's. Sure, I'm upset that we lost to Clemson and didn't show up against Alabama a second time around.
But in those 3 years, we've won 10 or more games each season and played in a national championship.
As a kid, I never thought I'd see LSU compete for a national title. Now, I've seen them win 2 and play for another. I'm pretty damn good with that.
So yes, satisfied after the initial sting wore off.

There isn't really a comparison between the two things. And I have many more reasons to dislike LSU besides something that happened in 1984.
