TAF or the football program can raise money to pay NIL deals to every player so why should the school give them anything???

Because the school not TAF are still not allowed to pay the players directly. NIL is a way for the players to make money off of themselves but they have to do it by themselves. The school can assist with the marketing side once the deals are done but the players have to do the deals first.

If we tell they can have a $100,000 NIL deal do we need the school to give them anything?

Who is "we"?

Do you have a learning disability that we should know about?

Looks to me like they would gladly pay to go to school if the NIL deals are big enough.

You think every player is gonna get a NIL deal, let alone $100,000?

Eventually yes. Many will be a lot more than $100000.

At some point, the athlete has a decision to make. Like Olivia Dunn for example, she became a millionaire overnight. She may decide to forgo her athletic scholarship monies if it will directly help the team.
But doubt that ever becomes a rule at any school or conference.

Ok cool. So you want 1% of the players, at maybe 5% of the schools that will be able to make nice money to pay their own way? Great. What about the rest of them?

I bet those schools are going to want bigger pieces of those independent athletic departments revenue.

A majority of college athletes are going to get little to nothing from NIL.

I mean, some will be (Olivia Dunne for sure). But certainly not everyone, and likely not enough people to justify cutting scholarships and housing. Raising Canes isn’t calling our second string kicker anytime soon.

There are maybe 5 players on the football team that would get a deal like that. Maybe 5. Crews and Morgan are the only ones on the baseball team. Darius Days is another big maybe. That's it outside of Olivia Dunne.

So you think the kids who aren't good enough to go to the power 5 conferences are all of a sudden going to pass on the chance to play college sports because of this?

You are dumb as shite, and continue to double down on stupid over and over again.
