I don't think that Fed had much chance of beating Novak in the final anyway. The slower hards at the Australian Open are probably the worst surface for Federer against Djokovic. At this point I think that Fed's best shot at winning another slam might be a Nadal injury at or prior to the FO

Think more of the same, Murray not making the step to defeat any of the top 3. Djokovic more dominant play tonight, probably Djokovic in 4.

Yesterday was #2 vs #3, today is #1 vs #4, albeit tennis rankings are controversial.
As was stated about tennis though; it is a great sport partly due to feeling you can get to know the players on a personal level. Yesterday's players are far more likable for many, thus their popularity.

And their rivalry is much greater than this one, although, this matchup could become a very big rivalry in a few years seeing as they could meet up in all the grand slam semis.

Last night was a good matchup. Even the guys calling it seems more into than they are now

Which may lead to Murray retiring soon

Very early, but he's already playing better than I thought he would...though I'm not saying he's playing well

If Djokovic broke him that game and went up 3-0 this thing would have been over so damn fast.

Yeh. Murray is fighting hard. His cross-courts and some backhands have been solid recently

Novak dominated this set early, Murray stepped it up and got the lead, then Novak fought back and nearly tied it up but choked away his chance at the break. Would have been a very interesting set, pushed to tiebreak.

But now it is anyone's match. Novak looks in pain and his extremely high level of play has dropped significantly.

Am I alone in being baffled by Novak continually hitting into Murray's path instead of the open court. I know Murray is fast, but Novak has got to use up some court when he gets those chances

Edit:
I was a little late posting this thought
