Do you expect anything different? These officials are just horrible as a whole, and makeup calls are an even bigger joke. You fricked up, move on, but don't intentionally blow calls to "make up" for it.

I came to this topic for the sole reason that I don't know how any of you guys can say that the refs are not sucking the Lakers dick this entire series. I wish somebody would fricking shoot Paul Gasol.

The NBA is just not as skilled as it used to be. That's the thing, and a large reason has been the lack of enforcing the rules (like traveling, carrying, double dribble, over the back, 3-second violation) by the officials.
You have much more ATHLETICALLY talented players these days, but in all honesty they aren't BETTER, just more "flashy".
Quality of basketball in the NBA has fallen off the face of the Earth the past 15 years.
