Micah Eugene is probably the best all around player in the state. Averages over 10 yards a carry while playing offense and also has 2 fumble recoveries and 7 interceptions on defense, and this is against a very tough schedule

But he really doesn't play offense in the second half at all, because most of the year he didnt have to. Still has 1500 yds on 146 carries

Yep, but I've seen this team with and without Turner the last 2 years. It's a completely different team with a healthy Turner. Like I said, ask TheBob. He's an unbiased observer who coached against WM last year.

Now who's being a homer?

Pretty sure La'el Collins is the best player in the state.

E.D. White finally takes down Parkview this year.

Finally??? In recent memory (last ten years) I remember 3 matchups. 2 to PBS and 1 to edw. But I don't remember them coming here.

I said all around, big difference. Unless you know someone else who has 1500 yds rushing and 7 int's playing both ways

There's no doubting mr collins play as an olineman, reminds me of my glory days on the veer machine

dont get too carried away over there. micah has played good ball all year but that is a little ridiculous. Anybody know what type of offers (if any) Eugene has received so far?

Lsuguy13 you must be a young guy. Easy on the insults. I have known some great athletes who weren't great students. Some of them lazy, some who worked very hard in the classroom but they just weren't good students. Be careful on the insults. I would encourage you not to say anything you would not say to Micah's face. I am sure you would not say that to his face.

He's 5'10" 173. Not the most imposing guy.

I agree though. No need to insult kids.

Turner is by far the difference. We had no shot in the championship game, because we weren't scoring. However, if West Monroe didn't have Paul Turner, you're looking at a much better ballgame in the state championship last year.

Let's put it this way....If West Monroe were to lose with a healthy Paul Turner, I would be absolutely shocked. He's an amazing player.

Yea maybe i let my homer out a little

He very well could be just an above average talent taking advantage of the system he is put in like so many Acadiana RB's before him. Excellent point. All 5 acadiana running backs are averaging about 10 yards a carry now that i think about it

Damn

Try telling that to the 2 ESJ players he carried for about 7 yards

yeah i played against him and yes i would say that to his face and say you are a waste of god giving ability because you can not qualify at Acadiana of all places LOL. I'd gladly say that to his face as we didn't see eye to eye on the field.

i give him credit superb athlete. one of the best pound for pound ive played against and believe me I played against a lot.

based off what I have seen and talking to kids that have played against him(and Micah Eguene)...I would agree with this statement...

If both Westgate and West Monroe win, Westgate would host. There is a possibility that the game could be played at Cajun Field. If Acadiana and STM meet up, STM will likely want to play the game at their stadium as opposed to moving it to Cajun Field.
