When you resort to making straw men you’ve conceded that you have no real argument.

They don’t know anything about Wilt or anybody else from more than a decade ago. This is the flaw with these types, they pretend to be experts on things they’ve never witnessed and know nothing about.

Wilt was more athletic than you think apparently.

Chamberlain stood 6 ft 11 in (2.11 m) when he entered Philadelphia's Overbrook High School.[5] As an avid track and field athlete, he high jumped 6 feet, 6 inches, ran the 440 yards in 49.0 seconds and the 880 yards in 1:58.3, put the shot 53 feet, 4 inches, and long jumped 22 feet.[6

He wasn’t just some tall dude clogging up the middle…

Wilt wasn't even an elite defender for his time. That was Russell. The idea of him guarding someone like Lebron on anything other than a postup is stupid.

Then what’s the argument? Basketball was better in the 90s but the players were worse? That doesn’t make sense.

Wilt was a multi time All-NBA defender and would’ve been more but they went by position back then. Joker and Embiid don’t matchup on Lebron so why would Wilt need to?

Well you made it up so you’re the one not making any sense.

To assume something like this without knowledge of it is, stupid.

So you'd need to see Muggsy guarding Jokic first before determining how that's gonna work out?

I can’t comment on that since I don’t know who they are or to my knowledge ever seen them play. I quit watching years ago.

It just doesn’t interest me now.

You’re making an argument about players against an argument about rules that affect style of play. It’s apples to oranges.

Well yeah. I'm not an idiot so I can make the obvious assessment without seeing it.

Your assessment makes no sense and is inverse to facts.

Bird said Laimbeer would step on your shoe to injure you as you took a jumpshot.

I guess he did whatever he had to do to survive in the League....but he was a
hockey goon.
