I wish I had gotten on the Pats when they were at 4.5 like I wanted to, but I kept waiting til the season got closer in case Brady got hurt. Still got them at 7.5 and I think that'll be ok. I'm seeing 24-14 or 27-17.

Stevan Ridley warming up on field 2 hours before kickoff, without a trainer. Very good sign after he missed last 2 pre-season games. Vereen also has been out there, so pats will have full 4-man running contingent available - Green-Ellis, Woodhead, Ridley and Vereen.
Pats have also activated T Thomas Welch from the practice squad to provide backup help with T Sebastian Vollmer out with back ailment. LB Jeff Tarpinian released to make room for Welch.

59-14 a fluke?
yeah i remember the first quarter. way too many turnovers and it snowballed into a way worse situation.

Not yet, other than the 4 injured players mentioned above (Vollmer, Price, Wendell and Cunningham). I imagine Ryan Mallett will be one as well.

Aww, Price isn't going to be playing? I'm really excited by this kid... he's got speed, good size, great hands, and he blocks downfield.

Ugh. I can't wait to see this defense and the crazy stunts they'll use up front. I really think Belichick is going to have a fun year. I think it finally clicked this offseason that two gap read and react just doesn't work without extremely talented players, and it's just impossible to get them wheneve3r you're consistantly a top 5 team in the league.

He's 100%

Vereen and Spikes inactive for Patriots also. So Ridley likely to get several carries

It'll be nice to see if Fletcher can keep up beast mode.

Anyone playing the over total of 45 points?

Lovin' this new 46-man game day eligible roster1 Was hoping to get to see A.J. Edds play, and likely he will now that he has survived the inactive list.

the raiders scoring 59 points is a fluke, yes
the fact that it was 21-0 before Den even touched the ball it seemed= fluke

fluke score but not a fluke result IMO.
i find a NFL team that got prison raped by 45 points at home difficult to take as favorites only a year later...
oak hasnt lost a afc west game in over a year as well (obvious stat that everyone knows but i like to point out the obvious)
Oak usually looks like complete shite in these ESPN monday night week 1 doubleheaders though.

i almost always cover when i take the under afc east games, especially at the beginning of the season. And with the lack of a running game and QB ability with the fins and NE's O-line being decimated it would be a prime game to do it. I got it set at 46.5 though and i wouldn't touch it
