I didn't think it was a bunker. I just thought it was trampled down rough.

Why are they letting fans stand in bunkers?
I guess because there are like 3000 bunkers on this course. Heck, they showed some little girl building a sand castle in one yesterday on tv

There are plenty of bunkers at a lot of courses that aren't in play for pros. They still shouldn't let fans stand in them.

They did that shotlink thing on CBS and the little map they had on the screen showed it was a bunker.

Yea, I saw that too, but I didn't realize she was in a bunker on the course. I figured it was some waste area off to the side of the course.

Guys the rules officials have already determined that it is a bunker. The only question is if the club was grounded.

cbs is looking too late in the process, he had actually grounded the club about 30 seconds before that, before he addressed the ball

Course layout showed his tee shot as going into the bunker.
When he arrived at the shot, it looked more like a worn out grass area than a bunker.
