Pick routes and NFL players' inability to run them correctly

I just cannot for the life of me figure out how professional NFL players who make millions of dollars can't run a pick route without lowering their shoulder or extending their hands/arms.
Just run the god damn route as you normally would and you won't get called.
I can literally walk outside right now and find someone who can do this better than most NFL receivers.

There's been a few earlier this season I've seen as well.

Why cant they just stop turn their head towards QB and extend hands toward LOS and have the intended WR rub right past him?
