My high school basketball career ended when I collided knee to knee with someone in a full court press breaker drill in practice. Couldn't walk without my knee dislocating. Had surgery took 3 months for me to get back to practice and when I did it was clear I had lost explosivenrss and about 3 steps lol. Before I could get a step on petty much anyone a d get to the lane afterwards I had fricking scrubs in practice d'ing my arse up and there was nothing I could do about it. Plus it hampered my ability to play defense which was probably my best attribute before hand I couldn't stay in front of anyone.
It never really hurt per say. I never felt it unless I tried to explode off the leg. But I def felt it. It's not really painful. It it effects you tremendously
