Your probably right but actually they arent much younger. Michael Burks was a year ahead of me at Rummel and I'm 28. Ronnie Brown is about to turn 28 and Cadillac is 27. If they were in their correct grades they would have been freshman when Burks was a sophmore.

I hope it plays out to be Rummel v Catholic.

Obviously, that's not a given. I know nothing about Westgate, but they aren't in the semi's because they suck. And I haven't seen the Catholic or WM, but just out of tradition, I'd bet on WM.

I go the championships every year. As such, I get to see some teams more than I ever would. In 5A, WM is almost always there.

Rummel may be local, but WM brings an extraordinary contingent, and they won't be intimidated by the surroundings.

Ronnie Browns first year at AU was 00 according to Wiki

Cadillac's first year was 01'

Yes...come to the darkside...

So who would have the advantage in the Dome? WM has been there done that, but they still have to leave Thursday. Rummel gets to sleep in their own beds atleast one extra night and maybe both nights. I would think they would put them up in a hotel atleast Friday night just to keep tabs on them. I would think the fanbases would be pretty even as WM will bring 20,000.

ok. Thats why I said you were probably right cause I was just guessing based on their ages. I was 17 when I graduated but they could have failed or been held back a few times. Burks could have been 22 as a senior at Rummel for all I know.

Clock has to strike midnight at some point. You do have Rummel's trouble in the semifinals going for you though.

not sure, seems like WM has a similar offense style to Hahnville, but im sure their D is better.

I have never seen them, hard to comment.

Rummel will bring a huge crowd. They've never been. Plus they'll draw people from the metro area that is going to be curious to see them play. Would be a very large crowd.

SL had a big group of fans...
Central had a big group of fans...

And they all went home with a L.

We just held what was called the #1 offense in 5A maybe the state to only 20 points. (6 came off of a Defense fumble)
