I am CONSISTENTLY reminded of the stupidity of humanity when I read these forums.

Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me. Perrilloux "fooled" Miles many a time- he's done.

FWIW, I heard he's transferring to Bama.

does that sound like Perriloux? Nope.
first of all where does an AUBIE get off dissing anything that is at or has been at LSU. He may not be the smartess but he does have touch and is a good passer. You can't compare Vince Young to RP Vince was a peer running QB. Rp can throw it just ask Tenn. By the way, RP Got what he deserved, even he said that, in the Interview on Espn. Now with that said I wish the Kid the best. But there are very few Kids with baggage that get into the first round.

he can't transfer, he has already taken a redshirt, therefore can't sit out a year...

I have read some really ignorant things on the rant.

You have somehow managed to top them all.

I read that on a forum and don't even remember which one. Would he have to sit out a year moving back to D-I? Not that I think there's any validity, just wondering.

The QBs that succeed in the NFL are the ones that are intelligent, have extraordinary understanding of what is happening on the field, and are extremely accurate with terrific touch....does that sound like Perriloux? Nope.

Nope ... sounds more like Matt Leinart, Joey Harrington, Ryan Leaf ... a bunch of intelligent washouts. There have been some dumb-arse QBs in NFL history so IQ and football IQ dont always match. Perrilloux's insecurity and self-destructive behavior are the things he may never overcome, but at this point he still has a theoretically possible shot at some kind of NFL career based on one thing - physical talent. Anybody that says he's got zero chance is wrong, but it aint much above zero. The return-to-LSU and 1st-round BS is ridiculous - he blew that chance for good.

Actually, I'd consider two of those (Leinart and Leaf) to be morons, with Harrington being an obvious product of the system. Leaf was a total headcase, yeah he had the physical tools, but he definitely doesn't fit my criteria of a smart quarterback. Leinart? The biggest reason he hasn't seen the field is because the guy is a total party-monster who has a bad habit of getting caught doing stupid things and taking a 'relaxed' outlook on football (sounds a lot like Perriloux, except Perriloux tended to do illegal crap). Lets not forget that Leinart did also get overrated due to incredible supporting talent. Harrington was a Tedford product and one of his many QB busts...the system hid his obvious flaws.

If he doesn't play, it won't count against him.

ML has played about half a season and was progressing fine until his injury. He was ahead of your boy JR for sure. IMO, he'll be a very sound starter.

Well he should be, considering he was in the league before JR was. Out of the three 1st round QB's drafted that year, only one, Cutler, has thrown for more td passes than ints. ML might be a solid starter, but for some reason I don't think it will be in Arizona.
