Great coaches don't lose to FCS teams in back to back years though and win conferences.
Ok? Their program has an all time losing record. It's the hardest job in their conference. They were in horrible shape when he got there. To act like he hasn't done a great job is ignorant.
As for the FCS losses, didn't he turn those seasons into seasons where they were ranked for large portions of the season or finished ranked? Uhhh...that's good coaching.

Just last year and he had an easy schedule no SC no Utah and lost last 3 games. Oh yeah lost to Minnesota team that almost didn't play.
The South teams they played were UCLA
Arizona
Arizona St
Colorado
2 of those teams had terribad years
Oregon and Stanford were wins but Stanford had no QB for that game
