VCU probably didn't even watch the selection show.

Somebody better call them and let them know they're in.

I've followed St. John's a lot (brother went to law school there). They have trouble scoring if Kennedy isn't on. Does Gonzaga have any big guys? Fab Melo killed them on the boards in the Big East tournament.

VCU, USC, UAB, and Clemson all didn't deserve to get in.

The committee did a horrible job.

+1
I actually care less about the bubble teams.

Florida is the worst 2 seed I can remember. Compare their schedule to UK's and tell me how Florida is a 2 and UK is a 4?

On top of that, BYU should not be a 3 without Davies. And if they are, they should not be in Florida's region. That makes no sense.

Ohio St, rightfully the #1 seed. But what is the benefit? They have UK (should be higher than 4), North Carolina (the 2nd best 2) in their region. Just awful.

I am biased but think Louisville should've been a 3 over BYU, Purdue, Syracuse, and Florida. This is nowhere near as bad as some of the other selections though.

ETA: The Southeast region is a joke. If a region is going to be this shitty, why would it not be the number one overall seed's region? Does this mean Florida is the 6th best team (since Pitt is the 3)? I just noticed Wisconsin is the 4. Terrible.

I think they should have been over anyone but Purdue. I was going to put them in the Final 4 if they were in the Southeast.

Need to do a scouting report on UNLV, but I like that match up for the Illini. They have the talent to make a run in the tourney. Good guard play will see you through. Geaux Fightin Illini

Lon Kruger is a very good tournament coach in the early rounds.

I feel bad for Harvard and St. Mary's. Should have gotten in over Illinois and USC. Also bring in Alabama over UGA.

Seriously. Like Bilas just said, someone needs to call VCU and UAB. They weren't watching.

I like VCU, but Missouri State over UAB would have been a better pick as well.

The committee seriously might have got hammered and thrown darts at the bubble teams to decide how they got in. UAB and VCU have awful resumes, I feel bad for the Harvard coach and players, they got screwed.
