Catholic vs West Monroe might be played in snow.
Rain/Snow Showers - High: 43° Low: 29°

It was 2003. Finished the season 6-4 and got the #15 seed. Knocked off an undefeated Chalmette team with "thunder and lightning" in the 2nd round then went to Amite and beat I believe another undefeated Amite team in the semis. Had former Southern WR Gerard Landry (older brother of Jarvis) and LA Tech TE Dustin Mitchell at QB. Rolando Melancon's freshmen year too
Ahh I remember those days. We assumed we would play Amite in the Dome, and we had a spring scrimmage against them and were really looking forward to going against them again. Problem was, we forgot we played Notre Dame that week

Seems like you are talking about 2 different years. In 2003 Lutcher beat Notre Dame in the dome after beating Amite in the Semi's (Rolando's freshman year). In 2004 Notre Dame beat Lutcher at Lutcher and met up with Amite in the dome.

no no no... that will NEVER happen.
I just heard it is a done deal from a usually reliable source.
Rummel @ Westgate to be played at Cajun Field.

you also got us the year after that when coach salt was leading 14-13 at the Dawg Yard and went for it on 4th and 1 from his 30... we lost 4 yards, yall scored, and Chalmette hasn't been to the quarterfinals still since 1968. kinda fitting that it was (A.) our last game before Katrina and (B.) the start of a Lutcher dynasty...

Westgate fans are PISSED!
Hopefully it's a nice big distraction for them heading into the game.

Umm.. I remember reading in the paper all around Louisiana they saying Breaux Bridge has/had the best Front 7 in the State. (2 or 3 LSU Commitments)
Rummel isn't Breaux Bridge. Did you see what Rummel's D did to Hahnville's offense. Hahnville has some of the best WR's ive seen and their only td came from their defense. Westgate is maybe...maybe just as talented as hahnville. Rummel's defense continues to roll...Rummel 21 Westgate 0

assures rummel victory now.... acadiana area teams are 0 for forever against catholic league teams at cajun field...

I was gonna say the Rummel vs. Westgate game is being played at Cajun Field. But I see its already posted.
I heard for my brother-in-law who coaches for Rummel, so yes its a reliable source.

Sadly the last time a New Iberia team played there (cajun field) in a semi-final game they won in a huge upset. Another meaningless stat that has nothing to do with this year.

Can anyone confirm that the CHNI vs ND-C has been moved to Rayne, or is it still in Crowley?
