Yes the game is in Rayne. Although we've played half our home games in Rayne this year. So it is not really a big move.

Funny thing is Rayne actually has a smaller stadium. But the field is in better shape.

Football is football, and college football is inherently better than high school football. And earlier this season, in that very stadium, a team that almost went to the Big XII championship game was upset by the team that plays their home games there. Regardless of your feelings toward ULL, this Rummel/Westgate game is not going to be "the first real football game" played there this year. It probably won't even be that good of a game. There will be poor execution on most plays, poor tackling on many other plays, QB play will probably be subpar and the game will probably be slow and boring. I say that because that's how 99% of high school games are, not because of the two teams playing.

I agree. I know im biased,but I dont see the Catholic Defense stopping this VERY explosive WM offense. I do expect them to score a couple of td's through the air though. WM's secondary is WEAK. But their front 7 are 2nd to NONE.

Sounds like a little jealousy from down the bayou (Lockport). I firmly believe that EDW has a good chance of beating Parkview. This team has so much to offer and plays for four quarters from the heart with a great will to win. (ie: South Lafourche victory in 3 OT) They have a few standout players but for the most part they play together and for each other with a passion. Will be a good one!

Good Luck but the Cardinals will surprise you and everyone else who thinks that this may not be a contest. They beat some very good teams to make it this far (ie: Patterson - who gave PBS all they wanted last week, Catholic of N.I. - who is playing ND of crowley - these are just from their district)
Will be a good game - GO CARDS!!

Just a reminder for all Catholic fans making the drive down to West Monroe to please come tailgate with us pre-game! Look for the big motor home along North 7th Street (near the big canal). It's wide open, just come on up and introduce yourself and enjoy the good food/drink and company.
