a kimbo/brock fight would be awesome. kimbo is one of the only people that could take him down once he develops some ground skills.

The dude that beat Kimbo came out with Tom Lawlor at UFC 100 on a leash with a bone in his mouth FWIW.

i dont know bro.

for one of carwin's fight they showed a clip of him easily power cleaning 400 pounds. that definite takes core strength. it may not be direclty sport specific, but it has some functionality.

I am with Smack. One thing I think is certain is that Carwin will crush Cain "Brown Pride" Velasquez. FWIW I saw Carwin wrestle in person. We wrestled in the same conference in Colorado the year I wrestled. He absolutely destroyed our guy who was an all american DII. I was a 177 pounder thank God.

Carwin also played Linebacker in college and was actually invited to the NFL combine, so I'm sure he had a lot less of a chance to specialize on wrestling year round back then like Brock did.

Not to highjack the thread, but Max your pic got me thinking about Penn/Florian. Thoughts on that one?

Velasquez is no pushover. That fight is tough to call IMO.

I agree, but Cain was getting rocked on his feet by Kongo and I think Carwin hits harder than Kongo plus the wrestling is a wash with these two. Carwin's wrestling is on par with Cain's even though Cain was a DI All American. Carwin was a two time DII All American and wrestled against DI teams in tournaments. Plus he played football too. With that being about equal, I think he knocks Cain out.

I agree if he prepares. You think he is motivated for this one?
