hey pussy, its a violent contact sport played by guys who have the bodies of Gods and can run with deer. You know what you sign up for when you play the sport. Hell, you know what you sign up for when you play receiver. People with your line of thinking is why this sport will be fricking flag football in 30 years. With the technology we have today in helmets and padding, those are symptons and illnesses you won't see when our generation of players get old.
Nobody "signs up" to be crippled for life. They sign up to play the game and expect the rules to be enforced. There is no technology in existence that will prevent a whiplash brain stem injury when a defenseless WR is hit. And this generation of players are bigger, stronger and faster. That is exactly why the rules are being changed. I'm glad you get off on the violence of the game but fortunately the people responsible for the future of the pro game including the NFLPA know the need to make changes. Yeah, that's right dickhead,......the powers that be including current professional players share my line of thinking - not yours.

Taylor Mays should be penalized for being a beast.

Yes. Defender leaves his feet with no intent to wrap up.
Is this a new rule?
I've never heard of that.
