TCU should win by a comfortable margin.

I think this game is going to get frustrating for Boise quickly.

TCU 41
BSU 21

waste of BCS game

What teams should have been in it, if not them?

How is TCU vs. Boise in the Fiesta a waste, but Iowa and Georgia Tech in the Orange isn't?

Back to the original question:

TCU 45
Boise 17

two non BCS teams playing each other in a BCS is a waste. Both should be playing a team from a BCS conference not each other

esp after last year when they played and TCU beat an un defeated Bosie Team

Agreed, and you're right. I mis-interpreted your statement. My apologies.

They are each playing an undefeated team that is higher ranked than Iowa or Georgia Tech.

Why would beating 2 loss Iowa be better than beating an undefeated top 10 team?

It's going pretty well--thanks for asking. We only had two weeks off for Christmas, and we start back with preceptorships tomorrow.

I'm already looking forward to summer.

One of them should've gotten a shot at a BCS conference champion. I agree that one of them beating the other proves more than them beating GT, Ohio State, Iowa, or Oregon (which Boise already did), but a lot of fans don't think much of TCU or Boise and will say that a win by one over the other proves nothing.

This is true.

Of course I'm halfway part of that group. If TCU beats Boise I don't think it will say much, but I'll give Boise a ton of credit if they knock off TCU. I really, really wanted UF vs TCU. I probably would have put VaTech in the Fiesta instead of Boise State if given the chance.

I see where you're coming from, but I think Boise's record speaks for itself--they are undefeated having crushingly defeated a BCS conference champion this season. A win by either over the other will be a stronger accolade for their season than a win over any other team in the BCS would have been except for Alabama or Texas in the BCS-MNCG or Florida in the Sugar Bowl (which is as it should be since those three teams plus TCU and Boise make up 5 of the top 6, Cinci being the other).

As far as hypothetically Boise beating either TCU or Florida, it's hard to say what proves more this season. I think TCU will show themselves to be the superior team in the bowl, but Florida certainly was impressive against Cincinatti.

Most oddsmakers are giving them 8 points now.

I've never done a pickem that uses spreads.
