Are there 64 better qbs in the league than him????? He actually played pretty decent at the end of the year considering the lack of talent he had to work with.....

What were Bomani's exact words?

He said if Kaep isn't signed that people aren't going to want to look at their boss and friend can call him racist. The context was the different excuses people were making about not signing him, and people within different organizations.

No, but there are a lot that are close to as good and aren't nearly the distraction.

That, and he's a bad backup option as an unconventional QB. It's hard to change your whole offense mid-season.

If Ray Lewis or Deon Sanders would have done this in the prime of their careers, nobody would have cared. All this is about an average quarterback that is not good enough for a team to sign. If this were a superstar, he would be on a roster regardless of his political views.

You're right that he'd be on a team, but he'd would lose a lot of money losing things like sponsors and jersey sales. He also might not make the hall of fame. Going the anti america route in the NFL is a very dumb move.

Wait, what? I'd easily take 32 QBs over him.

Don't be a distraction.

It's pretty simple.

And if you are going to be a distraction, be REALLY fricking good at your job.

He's right there at the 30 mark amongst starters. Once you add in the high potential 2nd string QBs, he could be bumped to the 32-35 range.

I just don't like his style of play. I would much rather a pocket passer.

Explain to me how he's better than Brian Hoyer, who is generally considered around that slot.

I'd agree with this.

I applauded Kaep's right to make his stand, but I also applaud the right of the NFL owners to not want to deal with him. When he stuck his neck out on his issues, he had to be prepared that his career would be axed. And if he wasn't prepared for this, then he shouldn't have made the stand.

It has nothing to do with the simple fact that he is a dumpster fire that sucks at QB

And the "White Man" will always be signing their paychecks. They need to remember that!

Surprised no one is mentioning that maybe part of the reason why no one is signing him is because he just isn't very smart. The fact that he opted out of his last year with the niners to go through this tells you all you need to know about him.

No he won't. It has nothing to do with his race. It has everything to do with the distraction he has made himself. His race is irrelevant.

This whole Kaepernick thing is pretty simple. It's a straight risk/reward proposition.

Every team up to this point has determined the risk of him being a complete team distraction outweights the chances of him being a player that can help you win big.

Whether Kaepernick and his supporters like that or not, he brought it on himself.

Agreed... on paper he outplayed Cam, who the Auburn Panthers think is a god.

FIFY.

My take on this is Kaepernick isn't playing for the same reason no one wanted Tebow. He isn't nearly good enough to offset the media circus that'll come with him. He hasn't been anywhere near the same player since they stupidly ran Harbaugh out of town.

Also, I would have cut him the first time he sat during the preseason, but that's just me.
