I think with Wade, the Texans are BY FAR the most complete team in the AFC S. If they can finish games they might challenge for a bye IMO. 2 good backs, a top 10 qb, a good blocking scheme, a really good TE, the best WR in the NFL all on offense. On D they have one of the best pass rushers in the game. If their secondary is average they will go 12-4 IMO.

I think the Texans did a good thing picking up Wade Phillips, their defense will be better. The problem is there is still a Manning in that division. Last year the Texans had one of the best if not the best RB in the NFL along with having the best WR in the NFL and they still didn't get a playoff spot. The Texans seem like a sexy pick to make in that division but the Indianopolis Mannings are the safer pick. I do hope they make it this year but it's hard to pick against a team that pretty much owns that division almost every year.

People in Houston were talking playoffs last year and I didn't believe it at all with no D and a tough schedule.

This year I believe they've got everything they need. The defense will be respectable. Great pickups in free agency and the draft. Watt, Joseph, and Manning is a huge difference. Foster/Tate gives a great 1-2 punch and depth in case of injury. This team has Super Bowl type talent. I'm really looking forward to seeing the Steelers game to see if they have Super Bowl toughness.

I agree with that in some ways, however I think bringing in a real defensive coordinator and their defensive draft/free agency makes this an entirely different team. I believe the hype a bit more this year. If their defense was even mediocre last year, then they would have been a playoff team. I do think this defense will be decent.

Mario Williams has to be salivating at the Colts line. It's going to be pathetic again this year.

Reports have it that our new lineman Costanzo has been holding his own against Freeney in practice/scrimmages

You're a dumbass. Jags are far and away the worst team in the AFC South.

Also, Texans will not make the playoffs, much less win the division. I guarantee it.

Better chance of this than the Texans winning the division.

They'll be ok, probably finish 2nd again.

Jags finish 4th in the division this year. I think the Texans win it as well. Peyton has already said he will not play the entire preseason. His injury is worse than they're letting on right now. Titans have to get CJ back to have a shot.

Will Kubiak be out if the Texans don't get to the playoffs this year?

They look real good on paper, but they have made a habit of getting everyone's hopes up by winning meaningless games.

I've followed Texans closely for past few years and listen to a lot of sports radio here in Houston....I don't care that much about them so i enjoy the awesome meltdowns after games like last years' Jacksonville game...so I'm hopeful for some more classic Texans blunders to keep me entertained...and I think I'll get them!
