Assuming the Mets lose tonight (1 out in the 9th), all we have to do is win one of the games on Monday to clinch.

What the Mets do tomorrow is now completely irrelevant.
We need 2 combined wins and Dbacks losses before the end of the day tomorrow to clinch tomorrow night.
If we don’t get that we will need to 1 out of 2 Monday.

Mets game tomorrow is irrelevant for us. We can only clinch over the Diamondbacks tomorrow.

contingent on Arizona being eliminated by Sunday night - was thinking since the mets are already in Milwaukee -
and Monday's games are played for seeding only between Altanta & NYM -
would the mets rather just take the 6 seed and remain in Milwaukee or travel to San Diego after having to fly back to Atlanta and win both games of the DH on Monday ?
seems like they could set their pitching up and not have to travel by just not forcing Monday to be played -
this was going into tonight -
and Monday's games are played for seeding only between Altanta & NYM -

We'd go into the DH 2 games up on the Mets, but if we lose both games we finish with even records and the Mets would have the tiebreaker.

If seeding is set after game 1, I’m guessing they would cancel game 2?
