I’m pulling for an 0-8 clean sweep of the first round bye teams at this point tbh.

Just play the second round on campus too. It would give the Bye team the home field advantage and counteract some of the layoff disadvantage.
Plus it would guarantee packed stadiums. A lot of fans don't want to travel to the second round and would rather save up for a potential Championship game.
On campus atmosphere would make for better television anyway.
