The SEC bought into the offensive overload, but defense still wins championships.

You guys have been waiting for 20 years for the SEC to finally have a bad bowl season. Over the last 20 years the SEC has hands down dominated the premier bowl games. Finally you get a year where LSU and Florida are both firing coaches, and with the current transfer and opt out culture those teams will be awful in their games. Several 6-6 teams have already played and got beat. Guess what, we knew those teams weren’t very good. The SEC wasn’t as strong as usual this year. When two of the big guns are firing their coaches, it leaves a void. Sorry Kentucky, no one expects you to carry the SEC flag for us. It’s simply a down year.

You do realize threads like this are started because some fans of SEC teams choose to be conference cheerleaders don't you?

Conference cheerleading is as gay as A&M's yell team..

The Football Gods are punishing the SEC for picking up Texas.

The curse has started early!

I’m not trolling do you even know what that means and I said I wasn’t sure it really wasn’t important to the point but they were in it twice 2007 and 2008

I mean, we’ve won our last three bowls against ranked opponents (Citrus, Belk, Gator). Don’t drag us into your shite when we’ve been consistent as of late.

Interesting that a USC fan would make this thread considering they declined to play in a bowl last season.

How am I trolling? We were discussing how many SEC fans will say top ranked teams from other conferences would lose multiple games if they were in the SEC. My contention is they say that with the implied contention that these other teams (Clemson, Michigan this year etc) would play the entire SEC, but obviously that’s not how it works. UGA this year played 6 SEC E teams and Ark and Auburn. My guess is Michigan would also be 8-0 with that schedule and would probably lose to Bama like umm UGA did.

I used the example of how Missouri a middling at best Big 12 team came into the SEC and made the SEC CG twice which is true, I didn’t bother to look up how many time they won the Big 12 N because it wasn’t really important and I knew it wasn’t very many beyond 2007 when they were #1 and well they won it 1 other time big whoop. Doesn’t change the broader point which is the top teams from the other P5 conferences would do just as well in the SEC depending on the schedule. WTA adding teams.

None of that is trolling, you are trolling

For example

Guess what, Mississippi State will be without 8 starters. Guess you can enjoy it when the SEC is 0-4.

Why are those teams saying that? Are we supposed to be happy with Bama winning, again?

Sorry they couldn't lose to Bama like you did to push that SOS up

The only P5 team they played before Auburn beat the breaks off them

Their SOS was absurdly easy, just look at the win loss records of who they played.
