Did You watch them play? They looked damn good. They could have scored at least 2 more tds if they wanted to. I thought They were the most impressive looking team last weekend

yea, san jose state is a doozy.

but dont worry, pete carrol is good for at least one gigantic upset a season...sure theyll beat ohio state next week, but then theyll go and do what they always do.

lets see, stanford, ucla, cal, whos the next crappy pac-10 team to ruin USC's chances?

Oregon State looked badass on Saturday, albeit against Portland State.

Cal kicked the shite out of Maryland.

Stanford looked good against Wazzu.

There are some good teams in the Pac10 this year, IMO

I hope there are, im tired of seeing USC walk through their conference. the only thing i would scratch my head at is--

-Oregon just lost their star tailback
-I didnt follow any of the Stanford game so idk
-And Maryland is a mid-pack team at best in the worst of the big 6 conferences.

im not necessarily disagreeng with you, but i think if its anyone it will be arizona state or cal....but the pac-10 as a whole still have to prove themselves to the rest of the country.

I'm guessing you missed Georgia's offensive showing against a defense that ranked 93rd last season.

Their defense looked pretty good besides a couple plays where they let OSU receivers get behind them.

The game at Georgia is going to be a good test for LSU, and probably a close game.

I think Ole Miss should be lower. Absolutely agree with everything else.

As I promised on Saturday, I did not vote Ohio State in my top 10.

2nd worst conference

Maryland got trounced by a top10 team on the road across the country. I'm not too upset about that loss as an ACC fan.

I agree, the Pac10 needs to keep winning OOC games to help their image after last year's debacle against the MWC

the debacle.....Utah has beaten bama, byu has beaten, oklahoma. why is an acc guy talking about the pac 10 needing to keep winning those games? They aren't great but they will whip the ACC's arse.

I would have switched Ohio State and LSU. I think LSU should be at least number 10. I know LSU struggled...but they won. And good teams find a way to win when they struggle. OSU on the other got lucky.

Other than that I like this poll. But I might have had Bama at number 3 and USC at number 4. After all Bama did beat a top 10 team.

Did OSU not win or something? And no, OSU was not lucky to win. Explain to me how you think that.

LSU should not be in the top-10 or even near it.
