Anyone going against Serena right now in this thread is doing it because for whatever reason they already don't like her. That was some fricked up shite. No reason for those warnings. One was justified. The other two were not. That’s uncalled for especially in a final. Serena was going to lose but that it ended like that is a shame.

She’s also not wrong about the double standard. Men yell FAR worse at the chair umpire and don’t get shite. This chair is normally good and has good control over the match. Jack Sock had him opening day and yelled far worse without any warning. I was there. It’s not a good look. Dude will get some shite next year in Flushing.

Calling a coaching violation, which is what set off the whole thing, during a Grand Slam final is just insane. Then melting down over it is insane.

I'm watching the UGA game but I flipped and saw Serena got beat in straight sets. But there's some sort of hulabaloo..What happened? Seems like the commentators are talking more about whatever transpired between the ump and Serena as opposed to Osaka winning the first ever US open for Japan. Has a Japanese player ever won any major?

A violation that she didn’t even see.
She lost this plain and simple, but the coaching violation was a screwing of the highest order. She has to keep it together after losing that point, but she went stupid emotional.
