I tried to get a dodger thread going a couple years ago cause there are a couple of us but it got anchored the first day. Probably a good thing cause it would have just been me and zappas stache arguing for 7 pages

I've been to three away games. Was trying to plan a trip to the Houston or Cincinnati games. Me and my buddies are probably gonna go to Yankee stadium next year. My bro was there for Jeter's 3000 hit pretty awesome

All the daily threads get anchored to avoid clutter at the beginning of the season unless they are the Braves, Astros, or Cubs; the three teams whose games were on TV every night in Louisiana when all of us were kids.
The Rangers thread is grandfathered in even tho it gets like no traffic now, because back from 2010-2012 when they were really good it was a good daily thread. Also Rangers games were on TV a lot in Louisiana, too.
The series-long Yankees thread was like a loophole and they let it slide. But no one besides me and tduecen would ever post in it really.
