What? I didn't say this.
The endorsement deals she's getting are due to business. Lots of people watch her. She puts eyes in the screen that wouldn't be there otherwise. That's not racism, it's good business sense.

The push was over the top but IMO a lot of this is her just being treated like a rookie. Watch Jordan, LeBron, and any BIG name player's first season. You'll see the same stuff. Not saying it's right but this is not uncommon in anyway in any sport. Every heralded rookie has had to deal with this. I think some people have an issue with this happening in the women’s game

It's not about her being a rookie.
The media was out to get Clark before she played her first pro game. After fabricating a "rivalry" between her and Reese, there was suddenly the racial angle and jealousy that made the rest of the league hate her.
Like I said, Clark should throw up a middle finger and play overseas. She'll get paid just as much and get treated way better.

But most of the backlash Tiger got was from the fact that he was a 20 something kid that hadn’t won anything that got the unreal endorsement deal with Nike and Titleist. There were guys on tour that hadn’t made as much as Tiger did off course in their entire careers. And he came is talking about winning.
If you’ve never seen it, search for the Tiger/ Curtis Strange interview on You Tube. “You’ll learn.”
Just put it in perspective. Tiger turned Pro in August. He won two tournaments before the end of the year and earned ROY honors. He won the Masters in April lapping the field. Tiger took over the #1 ranking in June. In less than one calendar year.
Curtis and Tiger did a follow up when Tiger was in the middle of the run in the early 2000s. Curtis, to his credit, smiled after watching his comments and said “I may have underestimated how good you were going to be.”
