Both of those teams can still make the playoff and there really doesn't seem to be any team that is a clear step above this year so I don't know why so many here are ready to bury all these preseason predictions just yet.

Allar has 6 starts (out of 34 total) against teams with equal or more talent than he has around him and he’s 0-6 in those games with a passing efficiency rating hovering round 100 compared to his other games where it’s around 150. If you knock out the rent a win games and the bottom feeder teams in the Big Ten and it’s under 140.
Dude is arse. Weigman and Arnold aren’t great by any means, but at least they can say roughly half their starts are against superior competition. Allar started on third base and manages to wind back up on second.

Allar is mid. There a plenty of P4 QBs that just plain suck. Weigman and Arnold among them. Eli Holstein is horrible at Pitt (he just got benched) and Oklahoma State has 2 passing touchdowns all year.
