Hahahaha this is fun. Which playoff series win deserved the asterisk?

Was it the 68 wins the refs were rigging it for the smallest market in the NBA?

The refs helped the little ole Thunder get to the highest net rating in NBA history?

I never saw a team get away with football on one end of the court and then get every little touch foul on the other end

This was my gripe

It wasn’t that SGA was miserable to watch with his histrionics in the lane and his pushoffs (he was)

It’s that Dort and Caruso could get away with stabbing an opponent on the other end of the court and not get called for it

It was the weirdest disparity of in-game officiating I can remember seeing.

And it’s not really quantifiable, sadly. People who point to drives and FTAs are missing the point. Everyone who watched them could see it clearly.

Every Reddit/Twitter user* who watched a 15 second video* could see it clearly.

Yeah that’s called confirmation bias and played no role in OKC embarrassing your team. Please watch a game

Poor guy. I’m sorry OKC hurt your feelings. It’s going to be okay. Go watch some LeFlop highlights from the bubble

I think I watched every OKC playoff game last year. Might have been traveling during the first Memphis game but other than that I was pretty dialed in.

If you don’t think that Dort/Caruso got away with a lot more than the average defender then there’s really no cure for your homerism.

Here’s some homework. They do play physical and disciplined defense. I’m sorry your team doesn’t

Are the Refs Letting the Thunder Win?

Again, I have seen this already. I watched.

They play physical defense. They also get away with a lot.

And the whistle on one end is not equivalent to the whistle on the other.

This isn’t hard, no need to be so emotional about it.

It’s just not true. At least to the extent that it’s determining OKC’s success. I’m sorry. That’s not backed by eye test, video break downs or statistics.

And I agree there’s no need to get emotional like Chris Finch did lmao

its so true

stuff like this is why no NBA fan recognizes any of OKCs "accomplishments"

SGA is also objectively the worst "star" since Hardwn

Again, you can look the stats up since most here never watch the games. But lets just take the top 4 teams in West and see how many FTs they get vs opponents:

OKC: 729 - 670
SAS: 724 - 603
LAL: 738 - 600
DEN: 750 - 677

All 3 teams behind get a better whistle.

Now, you tell me OKC is getting a good whistle. Of course you will just like the other trolls here. Stat after stat shows they are not but most here are fans of Denver or NO or some other team and most rarely watch NBA.

Doesn't exist and has been proven wrong over and over again. It's hilarious how strongly y'all will cling to a false narrative. There's really no point in posting facts because y'all will believe whatever you want, even when you have evidence that it's wrong.
