I think everyone will agree that you take Ja first. But after that give Trae Young.

The man is averaging 29 and 9 by his second year. He's got a bright future ahead of him, and the Hawks will figure it out soon enough.

Trae Young is borderline unplayable in the playoffs due to his size.
Isn't he 6'2?

Ja and the question is silly.

It's Ja by a country ultra-marathon.

is this the thread where trae young gets put last by everyone despite being objectively much better than the other two? ja at least has a solid argument as he's a year younger and played well this year.

murray is 2 years older than trae and is just not even close.

Ja is actually not a year youngse than Trae. Trae and Ja but finished HS in the class of 2017. Trae only played 1 year at OU but Ja played two at Murray St.

This is the kind of objectivity you get from Louisiana when comparing anything to Georgia.

It has a lot to do with the love of Luke. Trae will always be compared to luke so people will always hate on trae to boost up luke.

Also traes appearance will always cause people to give him shite

They should give it a shot. They need all the fans they can get down at Philips.Metro Atl is majority white and city is
pretty close in terms of an equal black/white population split.

Give me Ja, Murray, then Trae

I don’t think it’s all that far apart as of now

I hate Trae’s defense, I hate Murray’s inconsistency, so I’ll take Ja. He’s got that dog in him.

Trae Young is a chucker, a stat padder and has a very real argument as the worst defensive player in the entire association

43% FG
36% 3pt FG on nearly 10 attempts per game

Offensive rating is 114 compared to a defensive rating of 117 lol

A -2.3 DBPM which is horrendous

The Atlanta Hawks gave up a transcendent best player in the league, multiple MVP kinda guy for this smh

Ja is the most point-guardish out of all of these guys so I'd take him. Jamal Murray is way too streaky. He'll go 3-4 games with 9-12 points then erupt for 35.

He also regressed massively on the offensive end from his rookie year (23.9 PER) to a PER of 17.0 this year.

Uhhh, look again.

Trae average 30 on 60% TS, the other guys are more like 55% TS. Massive difference in between Trae and those guys when it comes to both volume and efficiency scoring.

You picking Trea over these other two show me how little you know about the NBA. BTW. Who would you take between James Worthy or Dr. J???????

36% from three is not bad at all when he is taking them all of the dribble, self created. . It is not like he is standing in the corner shooting wide open corner threes. He probably doesn’t get any of those at all.
