Looked pre-planned/staged to me. He was expecting it.
I saw an interview w/ Tyson last week where he made a strange comment about fighting Jake once or TWICE which made me think they may have this one staged to set up for a rematch. Guess we'll see tonight.

Jake Paul is currently -175 and Tyson is currently +175 according to MGM. If this is legit I just don’t see how Tyson doesn’t win. I may have to put some money on Tyson.
The thing we don't know about Tyson is whether he can take a punch and/or what his stamina looks like. The only time we've seen him in a ring since 2005 was when he had an exhibition match with Roy Jones Jr in 2020 which was neither of them ever getting after it for 8 rounds.
I think Paul can win this fight if Tyson doesn't knock him out early. Tyson looks good physically, can still hit hard, and knows how to box, but he's still almost 60 years old. Jake Paul is 27 and in the prime physical age of his life.
However, all of that is with the premise of this being a legit fight each of them wants to win. What I think is reality... this is a show, will go 8 rounds, and will be a draw.

is this free on Netflix?
May tune in.
Pretty much Tyson and Paul getting paid by millions of people who just want to see Paul get smoked by Tyson
I’ve come around full circle and respect the WWE Heel persona and business accumen of Paul.
He made himself the person everyone wants to see get knocked the frick out and then every so slight increases the chances each time.
I just saw he called out Canello at Cruiserweight, which is 20 something pounds heavier than Canello has ever boxed.
Brilliant.

It’ll be some type of weird technicality or ending or a draw and Paul will immediately call Tyson a dumb bitch and that he would kick his arse again and knock him the frick out next time and it sets up for another huge payday and another fight for them both
It’s all so predictable

Basically the only way people will say it’s not fixed is if Tyson KOs him early.
I was at the fight in Tampa when Jake fought Woodley. I was sitting right behind the girlfriend of Jake’s best friend Jon and their entourage. I could hear her talking about how if Jake lost they were just going to stay in Tampa, but if he won they were going to Miami. When Jake won via KO it was obvious that it was completely unexpected to them - they were in total shock and I think she and some of the others were even expecting him to lose. So if it WAS fixed, not even the people closest to him knew.
That said, I definitely could see tonight’s fight being rigged to set up a potential rematch. The comment I saw Tyson make last week that I referred to earlier kinda reinforces that belief, I sure hope that’s not the case and that Tyson knocks him out in splendid fashion.

I think Paul's early fights were rigged.

If someone hasn't seen this fight then I can see them not thinking Paul could win. But anybody who watched this should know Paul has a chance.
Tyson trained his arse off for that and he certainly went in about as hard as he could. Even Roy Jones said that Tyson came out harder than he was expecting. Tyson was bobbing an weaving and throwing hard punches. But even old Roy Jones was able to take his punches. A 30 year old Jake Paul is going to be able to take old Mike Tyson videos.
People are getting too caught up in Tyson's workout videos. It's like the Carmelo Anthony workout videos in the offseason of him draining 10 three's in a row. Anybody can look good for a few clips. Tyson is going to be at the maximum, as good as he was vs Roy Jones four years ago and odds are, simply because of father time, even worse.

I personally think Paul is going to win this fight. It's going to suck because I don't want to see Tyson lose to this jackass. But Canelo would absolutely mop the floor with Tyson. It doesn't matter what weight class. Canelo is still a world class boxer and quick as hell and his punches land hard. Paul would get smoked by Canelo.

I took a DK bonus and bet Tyson at like +240. Should be a fun evening.

Paul and his ZIT FILLED FACE are so FULL of STEROIDS he's completely delusional!
Tyson @ Age 27 would KNOCK Paul OUT within 40 seconds! of the 1st Round!

If it’s a real fight Tyson will destroy this fool. Everything goes out the window with someone like Tyson if he gets hit for real. I don’t think he will be able to control his natural instinct, and will absolutely go off the rails. He still has his pride, and Paul is a joke!!! Anyone that saw Tyson in his prime knows that even today he would kill this kid!!
Tyson had one punch ability. Didn’t matter if it landed to the head or body. He would crumple big time pro boxers with body shots, or head shots.

Same. In the end it’s still a 58 year old man in there. As much as I want Tyson to end this kid in 20 seconds.

Texted my old buddy Roy Jones Jr the other day asking if this is legit. Have not received a text back. Pretty sure he's in the building tonight.

What time do we expect the actually Tyson Match to start?
Posted on 11/15/24 at 5:15 pm to MattA
Jake has been in the ring with tomato cans and one boxer (who he lost to), so Mike has a shot at this. I think he's got the power still to ruin Jake's face but I don't know how he'll react to getting punched.
