McMurphy just dropped some very damning texts against Zach Smith. A convo between he (Zach) and Courtney, where he seems to admit to abuse.

Fool IDGAF if he reported it to Morris Day and Jerome if they were in positions to do something about it. Law is more than simply text, son, there’s also this notion called the spirit of the law. The whole point of the OSU Title IX regulation is to get people to report these allegations to people who can do something about it. As long as Urban reported this to someone and his claim of reporting is corroborated, whether he reported it to the technically correct person is not of high dispositive value, he did his duty and didn’t cover it up. Would amount to a slap on the hand like the guy in Colorado, not an abdication of duty that would amount to a for cause termination.

Come on, man. He didn't cover shite up. Take off the tin foil hat, the Urban Meyer and Ohio State hate and think objectively. He made a mistake in a statement to the press and it's not a mistake that should cost him his job.

I don't think he'll be fired for reporting it to the wrong person, but he could be.
It's very clear who is supposed to be told. He may have actually told that person, we don't know.
