Oh that struck a nerve. For someone that has claimed joy at a moronic pace at every little detail OSU or Urban puts out this is hilarious.

quote:

“I can’t say it didn’t happen because I wasn’t there. I was never told about anything,” Meyer said. “The first I heard about that was last night.”

I'm sure you'll respond with something that you think is cute, but will further prove how fricking stupid you really are. You can't help yourself.

Did he not admit today he lied about not knowing anything at media day? I mean,
I guess you could say he lied today about lying on media day about not knowing anything, it's honestly hard
to keep up with all the updates to the story.

So if this was one of his athletes instead of a coach, do you think the athlete would be under a TItle IX investigation? Because there's no difference here in Faculty/Staff/Students. They all fall under it.

No sir no difference

OSU is currently under three separate investigations by the US Department of Education due to Title IX violations.

Part of Title IX compliance is making sure any complaints are handled by the Title IX coordinator. In this case, it's likely the coordinator would have determine Smith was unlikely to create a hostile environment on campus, but it's imperative he/she is allowed to make that call. If that person isn't afforded the opportunity to do his/her job, the school can be in violation of Title IX.

Take your regressive arse bullshite somewhere else its clear you're willing to die on this Title IX hill

I don't think he'll be fired for reporting it to the wrong person, but he could be.

It's very clear who is supposed to be told. He may have actually told that person, we don't know.

No one really cares Mr. Hypertechnical, as long as Urban reported it and his claim of reporting is corroborated regardless of whether that particular individual was the "technically correct" entity thats all that matters. The whole point of Title IX regulations are getting people to report these allegations/incidences to people in authority and not coverup/conceal them, thats just common sense bro.

FWIW I get the technical language side of the coin since I apply textualist/originalist approach to statutory interpretation and believe the text in a contract should matter at all times but lets be honest: for cause firing someone because they reported a Title IX violation to someone IN AUTHORITY who isn't the "technically correct" entity and getting away with it is pretty damn absurd. If its proven that Urban reported it, thats all that really should matter not if he reported it to the "technically correct" entity (well it shouldn't be given too much weight) THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF TITLE IX REGULATIONS TO REPORT NOT CONCEAL but your logical judgment is clearly obscured by your slavish dedication to using Title IX to take someone down so continuing to engage is pointless hereafter.

Welp, looks like my work here is done.

Once you've resorted to using location as a response means you know you've lost the argument.

Thanks for playing.

, just because I dislike Title IX expansion doesn't mean we should ignore discussing it.

It's a gross overreach IMO, but unfortunately, it's still the law of the land.

You can rest assured OSU isn't treating it as casually as you are.

ETA - to cover your next post, this could be a bigger issue for Gene Smith or someone else if they squashed it before it got to the Title IX coordinator.

Nah.

I even gave you two separate replies so you wouldn't get mixed up. So much for that...

It isn't surprising which one you chose to reply to.

I treat things with common sense and no bullshite, I understand OSU's position probably more delicate that it basically requires them to take more precautions considering how sue-happy we are in this country and it makes sense in their regard but that doesn't mean we need to become retarded and irrational about stuff a Title IX coordinator is not God why we have law enforcement and FBI and entities of that nature
