Missed opportunity for Chile in the area. Looking more dangerous than Ecuador for sure.

How important is it for the USA to win our qualifying group?

I don't think it will have a huge impact, unless France and Russia are upset in the playoffs.

We could possibly get a seed but it all depends on the last set of FIFA rankings.

First real promising moment for Ecuador. Good dribbling by Jefferson Montero, but the keeper snags his cross.

Medel gets a yellow for Chile. 0-0 at Brazil-Venezuela as well.

Yep...Edison Méndez had the post and put it just the wrong side. Chile dodged one.

Uruguay-Argentina has been terrible. Angel di Maria gets into open space and then turns the ball over. There's not much else going on.

Both defenses look a bit shaky on set pieces early in the second half.

Muslera does well to get off his line and smother with Higuaín bearing down on him.

Lugano gets in behind everyone, but he can't steer it on target. Great chance for Uruguay.
