You know there are lists that have Atwater over Reed.
So apparently guys who write and are working in the NFL are wrong also.
Yes Atwater is better in my opinion. It is not like I am trying to defend David Fulcher. I know more than you think I do.

Krause still holds the Int record and very under rated by people who never saw the 70's Vikings
Krause averaged .36 INTs/game over his career at a time when teams averaged 1.41 INTs/game.
Reed averaged .37 INTs/game over his career at a time when teams averaged 1.00 INTs/game.
7 times they caught more than 40% of the INTs that the average team threw in said season:
Krause 64.1% in 1964
Reed 61.9% in 2008
Reed 55.0% in 2004
Reed 50.1% in 2010
Krause 48.8% in 1975
Reed 41.9% in 2007
Reed 41.6% in 2003
For his 12 year career, Reed caught 33.4% of the NFL INTs per team.
For his 16 year career, Krause caught 25.2% of the NFL INTs per team.

No he was called Pumkin. He played playground ball at Jefferson. He was a few years older than me and that was his nickname. Jonathan Wells played there too and he was known as Thunder Cat. I didn't realize that Pumkin was actually Ed Reed until he was already in the NFL.

Tyrann is better at stripping the ball than almost any player ive seen in the 6 years i ve watched him. Reed definitely has a better knack for ints

I dunno, Tillman can make a great claim to strip King. Though, Tyrann is obviously the far superior player and total package.

Reed is the best safety I've ever seen (born 1989 for perspective)
