Braves v. Oriels… a coulple take aways

-very impressive how highly skilled the players are
-because of the high level of skill coupled with the “analytics” factor nothing really happens.. extremely boring.

Conclusion: will continue not to watch

Great sample size between two teams under .500.

Won't read your posts again.

Baseball has become home run derby. From the size of the cracker box ballparks to the roided up athletes. Nearly every player swings for the fences.
Very little strategy involved anymore. Batters either hit homers or strike out.

It's boring.

On average, newer ballpark dimensions are bigger than older ones. PED testing and punishment are also as rigorous as ever.

I'm not saying the game is as exciting to me as it used to be, but the reasons you gave are not why.

Twins won on a walk off HR last night and a walk off bunt for a single today. Yeah, boring stuff.

Is it roids or is it the fact that every player is into heavy duty strength training now, when in the old days it was discouraged because it would make you muscle bound?

Probably a combination of both.
