This is just blatantly false:

if that's true, then I guess all the songs/dances at lsu football games are pointless and contibute nothing.

If I had to change something, I would increase the number of substitutions you make per game.

I would (possibly) be in favor of added a substitution for each additional ot, and letting ties play out.

I agree with a line on the field similar to hockey. Offensive players cannot cross until the ball does, but they can be behind the defenders. Prevents cherry picking but would allow for more breakaways.

I've thought that forever. The offsides is retarded. If both teams can do it, I don't see how someone gets the advantage?

Offsides rule has been modified in past, and maybe time again to change:

"Originally (1856/1863), the offside rule did not let the attacking player touch the ball "unless there are more than three of the other side before him."

In the 1870s, after much discussion between clubs, it was changed to only three defenders.

Then in 1925, it was changed to two defenders and an immediate increase is scoring resulted (from 4700 goals to 6373—a 36 percent increase.)"

Modify Offsides ?: Maybe limit the offside to two players who are allowed "offside"—otherwise a team could pack a bunch of players in front of the goal keeper.

WRONG:

Chinese Bandit Tune actually MEANS SOMETHING
(eg Successful Defensive stand just happened, and other team must punt)

..its not some random ghey soccer tune like the
annual national AIDS Walk campaigns song: "You'll Never Walk Alone"

"You'll Never Walk Alone" is a song that has a much richer historical meaning and importance to its clubs than Chinese Bandits ever will.

I'm an LSU fan, btw, and not particularly fond of Liverpool/Celtic, but it's easy to see how it pisses on Chinese Bandits from a great height.

There isn't a ubiquitous song that every fanbase sings. Each group has their own songs with very specific histories. Big time European soccer, especially the EPL, has quite a bit of fan participation.

You mean like the Zombie Nation song, which LSU has pumped in over the speakers in Tiger Stadium for the past several seasons?

Talk about "ghey" and killing tradition.

Field should be 60 yrd x 40 yards

Every penalty is a penalty kick from the spot of the foul (no defensive line blocking the kick)

So "We Shall not be Moved" and "Can you hear the (insert team name) Singing?" mean less than Chinese Bandits?

Game 7 of the NBA Championship is tonight:

Imagine if game ended in a tie, and they decided the winner by shooting five free throws apiece.

Nobody wants that. OT in soccer should be sudden death like hockey.
