Shai makes unnatural basketball moves to draw fouls all the time.
And Bumby didn’t make an “unnatural” basketball move? Get the frick out of here. You’re justifying flopping because it isn’t OKC.
All this crying and bitching about flopping and “unethical” basketball is only applied to the Thunder because you hate them winning. It’s hilarious

Theres levels to this shite, and shai is at the top.

No one is ok with flopping unless its you two bums when its okc doing it

I just showed you that it wasn’t a flop, though
defender was trying to take his clothes off and he sold the contact
You are basically proving the opposite of your point
I don't know what the OU guy is talking about with the "agenda" he says yall have, I haven't been following yalls conversation, but that is %100 a flop. He quite literally flopped backwards on his arse over common handsy defense. There's a reason the tweet is titled "Flop of the year".

I think anyone level headed without an agenda would say that it was a foul followed by an egregious flop.
The flop should be called out because it was 100% egregious

Yea I mean he pulled his shirt up. Foul. But the ref didn't call it there like he should have and Wemby didn't even flop when his shirt was pulled up, he turned and faced the defender and flopped by the time his shirt was down. I like Wemby, but that was ridiculous.

This is the important part. He didnt seek out the contact and throw himself on the floor. He sold the contact the defender initiated.

Thank you, your reply was the first honest one.
Now, about the elephant on the room. SGA. Lets talk about it.
Lots of talk how he gets all these calls. But lets dig deeper. He has the most basket drives in NBA for 5 years running. The paint is where lots of contact happens.
If a player just dribbled straight they would not be a good player. So every player has moves they make to counter defense. The level of moves is what separates good from great. MJ had some of best moves of his era and it frustrated defenses.
SGA is one of most craftiest and finesse ball handlers of current times. He has learned over his life how to make sudden moves and if anyone watches him with the ball he’s the best there is. He can stop on a dime and change directions and its a skill that few have.
He catches lots of defenders off guard because they can’t move in the same fashion. So he gets a lot of calls from that skill. Its what basketball is all about. He only shoots about 24% of his shots from 3 and drives more than and other player.
Those moves make his hard to guard and ref. Because its so hard to defend he will get calls.
On the flip side, take Doncic. He shots around 45% of his shots from 3. Means he drives way less than SGA. Yet his FT rate is higher. And others are like that too. You have less contact from 3 range than driving, so it stands to reason a driving player will get more contact and fouls called.
It also creates a dilemma for refs. He’s going to have more questionable calls because of that extra contact. Its not easy to ref because he is so shifty. There will also be more film of his bad calls because he drives more than anyone else. If you took other players rates of fouls while driving they would be similar, but since SGA does it most he will get more driving calls.
If you look at reality, SGA doesn’t lead the NBA in FTs. Which in reality due to most drives he should. I posted that data here over the last week.
Anyways, no one will ever be happy. Doncic is the worst complainer of top players. He whines every trip down the court and even doesn’t get back to defend because he’s yelling at refs. SGA rarely complains to them.
Most here don’t watch any games from SGA, they see some clip on social media and post it as happening every play. Watch a full game and see how crafty he is moving with ball. He has a perfect body to do so and its a hard skill to achieve. Thats what basketball is about, being able to dribble well and move to make baskets or passes. He’s great at it.

Wemby 100% flopped. Anyone disagrees is jaded by hatred. This helps expose the culprits. Good job
I don't give two shits about the NBA, Wemby, or OKC. It is clear that the defender was trying to undress Wemby and Wemby did what he needed to do to get the foul called.
It is hard for anyone to take you seriously because you are so unobjective. You are like the angry 8 year old kid who thinks everyone everywhere is trying to cheat his team. It is annoying.

Yep, foul was before the flop. Bro tried taking his shirt off.

Well maybe the folks who will mot admit to Wemby flopping. The other day they posted a foul that SGA got and even the review got it wrong. It was not a foul, and those refs got it wrong. But there were screeching Karens in that thread railing on SGA when it was the refs who screwed up. I posted that Wemby and Doncic and others got the same thing. Last night Wemby flopped and I posted it because “thats different” when someone else does it. And then posters came to defend Wemby and declared it was not a flop. Most who post here are anti-OKC. I love it. Champions always get the hate. Thats who’s really mad, those who rail on OKC. And its fun to rib them. A majority of posters “never watch basketball” but are experts in flopping lol. Anyways, I’m happy that it chaps those non-watching NBA fans (sarcasm) because they only post thru hate of a team rather than knowledge. They also are like a certain party who deflect from the topic. Its actually fun. One poster even mentioned twitter as a bad thing. Whats the difference between twitter and here? This is a smaller version of social media. You make a post and people can comment on it or not. You can repost it by quoting. You can choose what to view. Twitter is a worldwide social media. You can make posts and people can comment on it or not. You can repost it. You can choose what to view. Twitter has a bigger range. Instant info. You learn who to trust and not. It really is no different than here except its a way bigger reach. There is nothing wrong with twitter and just like here you have to learn what to value or not. I don’t pay for it. I don’t post or reply on it. I only read and quote it. No different than here. Old days you had very slow info. Imagine NIL era back before twitter and other media methods out there now. You had magazines and newspapers and info was slow and very controlled by a few. Now you can get info fast. Not to derail but look at all the info coming out of Iran via twitter. It has many good uses. To me it works great in sports as you can get instant info and even short video clips of things. But I am not mad and think its funny how the OKC haters flock out in the other thread and were silent last night. So I posted it to prove a point. And it was proven. Doncic and Wemby and others can do same thing as SGA and its crickets. It shows agendas. That was my point.
Didn’t read this. Seems like you’re mad tho.

So you are one of them who cares about votes lol. What value do you get? Is anyone ever banned for getting so many? Do you get discount points? Trying to figure out why that matters. Anyone who is driven by votes is weak minded and unable to discuss a topic because they are afraid of votes.
There is a lot of that in this thread. Short quips and names thrown but no actual discussion. There was one poster who actually engaged and thats rare.
Worrying or bragging about votes is for mental midgets. Those who care can’t engage in true discussion in fear of getting some votes. Truly amazing.

So those wondering why I posted his flop.
He said he was “ethical” in Dec when we played them

Bro…are you really gonna dis Wemby because he didn’t dap up after the game? The bro culture in the NBA is pathetic. It’s very refreshing to see someone pissed off at an opponent. Even as an opposing fan, you should embrace it.
Lastly, this is regular season basketball. This stuff doesn’t really mean anything.

Agree with the 2nd part. The first part relates to how he acted in his wins bs how he acted losing. He railed against flopping yet did it. Then sore loser he walked off. He has to learn to take his medicine since he dished it out.
