On one hand the overall athleticism of the league is probably higher than ever before just because the pool of potential players it draws from is the largest ever.
But on the other, positionless basketball plus the emphasis on shooting (FT% is at an all-time high) means that more skill is required across the board, which has gotta be a bonus for the melanin challenged.
