I'd have to say Cardinals fans in baseball. I agree that Dodgers fans are great as well. I would say Brewers and Tigers fans are under-rated.

Best fans in MLB are the Cardinals fans, and it's not close.

I think my favorite part of threads like these are the people who say:

"______ are the best/worst and its not even close."

My top 5 fans
1. Cardinals- The knowledge of the game from Cards fans is amazing. Ask a Cubs fan about a double switch, hit and run, safety squeeze vs a suicide squeeze and most importantly who used to wear #17 for the Cubs or #21 for the Cubs.
2. Royals- Very similar to the Cards in their knowledge of the game. Very diehard in their support
3. Giants
4. Boston
5. Baltimore

People believe in this mystique with the Cubs as they did with the Red Sox
I am a bit older than most and I remember both teams being terrible on the field and in the attendance.
Before the 67 series against the Cards Boston was a dead franchise. The 7 game WS brought the franchise back to life with the 1975 World Series against Cincinnati Reds putting them back in the hearts and minds of Boston. Before that it was the Bruins and the Celtics
Cubs are the same way with the 1984 NLCS and the Infield Zoo. Plus the advantage of afternoon games on WGN with Harry Caray who the White Sox gave away to them. Before 84 the White Sox not the Cubs were the team of Chicago. The 89 NLCS run helped but what really made Chicago a baseball town again was 1998 with Sosa.
Before that it was the Bears and the Bulls.

Speaking of death threats, has Bartman ever come out of hiding yet?

I do. And it's why I left. I don't miss it or all the smog at all.

They never had strong support when they sucked. Stop pretending otherwise. I went to a quite a few Royals games when maybe 10000 people were there.

Where do normal people in LA work?

all over. it's the largest metro area and the jobs aren't concentrated in one place. downtown probably has the most employees, but there's also the westside, which itself is compromised of Santa Monica, west LA and neighbors Westwood. there's the century city, Hollywood, Pasadena, Glendale, and so on.

rangers fans. they pack an outdoor stadium that's inconvenient for half the metroplex's population despite the texas summer heat and humidity during good times and bad.
