Braves have a good team with young players under team control for a good while along with a top farm system.

Rangers have Gallo and Willie Calhoun who might be good, a guy who is literally only known for throwing a punch but sucks at actual baseball and three decent pitchers who won't be on the team in 2-3 years

1-2 other Yankees fans? That would be an improvement... Usually just me a random Cards fan, Biggio, and then the Astro fans who step in

Well I am a New Yorker now (probably the only one among any Yankee fans here). So maybe them? Wanted to jump on the Mets wagon as soon as SAC a real alpha was announced but then that fell through

Braves (and Falcons) - blah. Wish Carolina sports weren't so shite. Also wish the Braves weren't the nearest option.

How in the world did you grow up a Phillies fan? Most kids I knew were either Cubs ( WGN) or Braves (TBS) fans. I am Braves fan from way back. Have the Murphy, Benedict and Glen Hubbard autographs to prove it (even have Pete Van Wieren and Skip Carey’s). Pow pow’s favorite players were Chris Chambless and Claudele Washington. I remember laying on the couch as a kid watch big Bob Horner blasting 4 dingers against the Expos, and the Braves still getting clobbered. I was in Fulton County stadium when Otis Nixon charged that Phillies fig Wally Ritchie and whipping his arse. Screw the Phillies. Go Barves
