Bengals are going to be real bad for a couple years. A QB needs actual help to get it going but a DE can do their own thing really without help and if the pieces dont fit together for a few years hit it big on the FA market.

Baker Mayfield isnt even a sure thing to make it out of his rookie contract + option even after the numbers he put up last year so you gotta stick around a bit. And the Browns were in even better shape than the Bungles as it stands

If im Burrow I would dread going to Cincy

Haven’t paid a bit of attention to him. But he’s in no win situation right now as they have no WR and RB half the time.

He can sling it iirc from his Duke days.

I think Allen will be perfect for Buffalo because he has the arm to rip throws in that wind and played in those conditions as a college QB.

Those numbers are pretty solid for 1st overall guys, IMO.

6/25 non QBs taken first overall have won a Super Bowl though, so who knows.

I’m lost on other 2

You can technically claim Kosar as he was a supplemental first round pick 1st taken and he won one in Dallas.

Former Bengals #1 Overall Pick QB Carson Palmer took the AZ Cardinals to the NFC Championship game after telling the Bengals he would rather quit football than play another down for your shitty organization.

Technically I don't think Palmer was ever a free agent. He just said frick it I don't care if you trade me, release me, or not. I quit

He went to Oakland before Arizona.

Keyshawn and Orlando Pace.

Fwiw, David Carr won a ring as a backup, but I'm not counting him in the 6 QBs.

Honestly, young.

I like burrow. I think he's gonna be very solid.

Issue is that you need to build a team for a young qb to succeed. Throw him into a fire pit and you'll ruin him

And accomplished nothing worth mentioning at Oakland. So I didn't

Also, I'm just counting since the merger, so drop Bubba Smith. Russell Maryland is another you missed.

Bubba won one as a Colt that’s why. I always forget the Maryland pick was a 1. I knew TD Tony was a 2

Also worth noting Burrow's age. He'll be 23 in a couple weeks. He's a month older than Lamar Jackson.

That matters some as far as projections go.

You see the impact the Bosa brothers are making with the 49ers & Chargers so i'd take immediate impact player Young. They should sign or trade for a QB like Teddy Bridgewater who's a winner & should be starting somewhere in the league.

It all depends on the draft order in all honesty. If you can trade out of the pick and acquire a few 1st and 2nd rounders and still somehow take Chase Young, then you do that. If you can't do that, then i would take Chase Young 1st. Sign a veteran like Bridgewater or Marriota. The Bengals are going to have a ton of suiters for the 1st pick. It all depends on how good they think Burrow is.

If I was them, I would make a play for a vet QB like Cam or Teddy and then take Young. If that didn’t work, I’d take Burrow.
