If I'm Nebraska I do a full court press on Kentucky's Mark Stoops. He's a guy who has proven that he can win more with less.

don't think Meyer would even take their call.
Well, he’ll be in Lincoln next weekend, so they’ll have their chance to show him what they’ve got.

Mullen is another Chip Kelly or Gus Malzahn. They’ve gone away from what made them successful and can’t seem to find their way back.

Should be former TCU coach Gary Patterson IMO.
That would be a fantastic hire.
I think Lance Leopold from KU would be a low key great hire, but he doesn’t have the cache yet to get the call.

Patterson fell off at TCU. I wouldn't be interested.

I think Nebraska will make Stoops say no

Plenty of talent already
They've had 9 players drafted the last 5 years and not one 1st rounder.
That's just the opposite of "plenty of talent" Don't care where their current recruiting classes ranked.

I don’t think Stoops would leave. UK has legit facilities and support now.

They are not getting Meyer. Please stop with that crap. They should get someone who has ZERO ties to the program. How about Luke Fickell?

Why not bring back Bo? He did a nice job there. These rest of those guys would be taking a step down or are unrealistic. Also look at Rich Rodriguez
It’s 2022 not 2008.

Matt Rhule, come get him, please!

This is true and they definitely deserve better. Klieman would be perfect, but he has K State on the way up and may not want to move.

Quite a few are saying Matt Campbell.

Bill O'Brien is the best fit for Nebraska. He has done a wonderful job at Alabama and earned a shot. I know most Bama fans would hate to see him leave.

Yeah, that’s what I’m hearing too. I hope not.

If they wanted to consistently blow leads, lose one score games in heartbreaking and embarrassing fashion, and lose to teams they shouldn’t, they should’ve just kept Frost.

Sounds more like Paul Chryst than Bert.
*I'll donate to the UNL collective if they will take PC.

Hiring a proven winner is very hard
Out of Florida, Lsu, USC, and Oklahoma last year only 2 of the 4 hired proven winners
And that’s programs on better footing than Nebraska
